Laurea di primo livello in Scienze Geologiche, equivalent to Bachelor of Science, Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Studies, "Sapienza" University of Rome. Thesis submitted entitled: "Fauna dei carbonati temperati del Gorringe Bank tra i -35 metri ed i -99 metri (Fauna of Temperate Carbonates of Gorrige Bank between -35 meters and -99 meters). Mark awarded: 98/110.
Laurea magistrale in Geologia di Esplorazione, summa cum laude equivalent to Master of Science, Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Studies, "Sapienza" University of Rome. Thesis submitted entitled: "I Foraminiferi bentonici come indicatori ambientali in una carota dell'area portuale del Mar Grande di Taranto" (The benthic foraminifera as environmental indicators in a core in port area of Mar Grande in the Gulf of Taranto).

Since October 2013 he is a PhD student mentored by PD Dr. Peter Frenzel conducting palaeolimnological investigations on the Tibetan Plateau by the use of Ostracods

Research interests

Ostracoda as indicators of aquatic ecosystem evolution and monsoon dynamics on the Tibetan Plateau
